Using a Pendulum..

The Pendulum is the most simple and important and UNDERUSED tool for spiritual, evolution and EVERYTHING! It is a link to your subconscious mind, You can buy one HERE


It is one of the most useful and versatile magickal tools you will use. Second: Everyone is psychic and everyone can learn to use a pendulum with a bit of practice!
 It can be can used for almost EVERYTHING! A few things, for starters:

• Finding people or Lost animals
• map dowsing
• health questions
• lost articles
• job questions
• choosing flower essences or vitamins

These are just a FEW things you can do! You are only limited by your imagination, on how to use this very, very useful tool.
My first experience with a pendulum was the "What is your baby going to be" my wedding ring on a thread, and it was correct!  

My second encounter was at a "Psychic Fair" and it was small but upon entering they had a table with a "Magic Psychic pendulum" which I absolutely HAD to have! It was golden colored and $9. a fortune back in the 80's. I took my treasure home and discovered, it was a GOLD painted LEAD Fishing weight....! 
My ex husband LOL about it to this day, but it  worked! And worked well, indeed!

At the top of the blog is one of the Pendulums that I made and I am expecting a shipment of new pendulums also. Sister Sepllbinder has one of these pendulums and really likes it. A few other people do  also.

Pendulums have been around for thousands of years, in China was used to chase away, evil spirits!  In Egypt they were used to deterimine the best places to grow their crops (Dowsing)
Ammianus Marcellinus (c. 325-391 ce.) was one of the first people to describe the pendulum in detail. 
In 1326 pope John the XXII issued a "bull" to band the "use of a ring to obtain answers in the manner of the devil"

At this time the pendulum was being used mainly for divination purposes(cleidomancy)

Abbe Alexis Mermet in the early 20th century was known as the "King of Dowsers" He had a incredible talent and was very generous and would help anyone at anytime. He wrote a book "Principles and Practice of Radiesthesia" a modern day classic.

Now a days you can see people in the health food store dowsing with their pendulums instead of "Muscle testing".

Pendulums can be as simple as a ring on a string or more "high tech" there are some made with a empty chamber, if you are downing for water, you can put water in there, oil, same, etc. 

This is not necessary because all you have to do is have the intent/idea of what you are looking for. Most are made of Crystals, rocks or metal, or like my "Magic Psychic pendulum" a fishing weight on a chain! (Low tech) I am getting in next week some with "orgone" energy. ( for a later blog)

Here is my collection and some stay with my crystal healing kit, always have one in my purse (with mini tarot cards), a couple with (tarot) cards and runes.

 

The first thing you want to do when you get a pendulum and clear it by smudging or run under water.You can also "Charge" it to yourself and ask that is always tell you the truth, dedicated to you alone" 

Then you want to determine the yes and no.

To do that you ask the pendulum a question you know the answer too: My name is "    "? Hold it as steady as you can, later this won't be a issue as you can "feel" when it is answering or just swinging randomly.

Record the response. A yes can be back and forth or circle around. 

It depends everybody is different each pendulum can be different although I've found for the most part the Yes & No will be the same on all of them for you.

Then ask a No question:  Do I have a Dog (when you have a cat) or anything. Determine the No answer and write that down.

A woman asked me a very good question yesterday, she said "Is there a way to influence the pendulum with your mind"?   She went on to say she thinks her friend does this.

Yes! 

Since the pendulum is a direct line to your subconscious it IS possible to influence it!

PS: this person who does this whether concisiously or unconsciously would not be a good person to do a reading for other, JUST sayin'!

This is why you can ask a question but if you are "Attached to the outcome" or not a "clear channel" it will respond with what YOU want instead of what is indeed "TRUTH"

That is why working with them and practicing you will get a feel for working with your pendulum and being able to trust your answers. 

Its also, important to simplify your questions.

The pendulum is basically yes or no unless you make charts or have a pendulum board.

 "Should I take this job?"

"Should I take this apartment/house"

"Is this item (in a restaurant) really (gluten, MSG)Free"?

" I lost my earring, is it inside or outside"?

"In my car"?

"In the store where I was shopping"

The possibilities are endless of where you can go with this tool!

Its a good idea to center and ground before working with your pendulum so you don't get false positives or negatives. And if you are emotionally invested in something... "Does he/she love me" you should certainly center & ground and try to get a reading but you may have to ask a friend to help you because you are very emotionally invested in this question& answer.

I hope this is clear to everyone. Just work with them and you will get the hang of this wonderful, awesome tool!

I get some "questions" off amazon from people who IF the had a pendulum and used it wouldn't have to ask these not very "common sense" questions!

The use of the pendulum is ONLY limited by your mind! You can do so many things with it!

You can for example ask the pendulum which chakra's  of yours or someone else are out of balance. Using a chart like above is called a "Proxy"

You can muscle test with it. "Does this have gluten in it? Is it ok for my ...... diet"   
You can use it to find a job or should you apply for this job? Self improvement, psychic protection (along with a mojo bag) all kinds of things a pendulum

can be used for.

Practice with your pendulum, carry it with you in your mojo bag or purse and be a clear channel! 

You will be surprised how accurate you can get with it. Its such a amazing tool, inexpensive and so useful!  This is a good book to read more about it:

 If you have any questions please ask them and I will try to answer, but the best way is to just start using your pendulum! I do give instructions with my pendulums and sample charts.

This blank chart you can write in stuff like Bach Flower essences for example and use the chart to find out which one you need. Or you could put vitamins in there anything!
There are a few rules to remember though:

• Never use the pendulum frivolously
• don't ask the same question over and over
• If you are TOO emotionally attached to the outcome of a question ask a friend to hold the pendulum for you.
• Use the pendulum for good only: For the highest and greater good of all.

What makes Mojo bags so great?

 Mojo bags are very cool because you can customize them to suit your needs ALONE! This is one of my many mojo bags I wear, and when I go to buy a lotto I bring my "Fast money" mojo bag with me, or if I'm meditating I use my "Mystic Shaman" or doing my yoga I put "The key" on .

What makes mine so "special"?  I've been working over 20+ years with metaphysical crystals and stones.  I work with very high energy stones, expensive high energy stones. Moldavite is very hard to come by now a days, but I use it in my oils. I also have been attuned to Usui Reiki as well as a Star Reiki.

20+ years ago I was given a symbol that I now am using in "The key" oil, it is a symbol that was given to me and shown to work through the heart chakra

 to re balance the rest of them. and there-fore hopefully effect a healing. Now everyone can't be "healed"!?!
There are things that bleed through from other lives, "stuff" you need to got through for your soul to heal and evolve.  Its a constant evolution and change and constant work in progress.
I have chronic eye issue that is a bleed through from another life time.
There's not much I can do about it except keep moving forward in my healing journey.  I hesitate to even USE the "H" word in my Reiki or my oils because its often mistaken that you will be Magickally "healed"! When in fact.... it is like the layer of a onion, one gets "healed" and another shows up, we are in a constant state of change and flux. No one can ever be "healed" as that is the state of perfection that the Saints reside in!

When you "heal" one level, there is another one for you to work on and that is just the way it is. 
One thing I would like to address, is the issue of working on the Energy body or the Ka, and flower essences work on that level, Homeopathics also, Acupuncture is a bridge from the physical to that level  also, Reiki, Magickal oils (with crystals and essential oils) all work on that energy body also.  Herbs work on the physical level. Food is medicine also! 
People don't understand YOU REALLY are what YOU EAT! If you eat garbage, your body will reflect that serious imbalance! Food is medicine.
*wearing crystals as jewelry is healing as well as using Essential oils, in products or bath....Physical & energy body.

My personal belief is that if you can get it (on the energy body) before it hits the physical, if may not manifest on the gross/physical level.
Just my belief.


Now...Drs. don't believe in the energy body! Even tho in the 90's they figured out a way to photograph a leaf, if you cut off part and take a picture with a special camera you will see the phantom part of the leaf the energy signature.
That explains the "phantom leg syndrome" that many get who have lost their legs.

Traditional medicine, TCM, Ayruveda, Unani medicine address these and they are ancient, ancient!  But they knew!

The mojo bags I make have a handcrafted charm in there, and a couple of crystals, herbs and 1/2 dram of oil to anoint whatever you need to anoint to effect what ever you are trying to achieve. Its a lot of work making these oils and takes a bit of time but I do enjoy it. They are also made utilizing the energy of the planets.

Never again "The Burning times"!

I hesitated to write this post... but I feel it needs to be said. Think the burning times can't happen here? Think again.

Years ago my Mom had a friend who was a Rosicrucian and he was willing to sponsor me. I was a new mom and felt it wasn't a good time. He said that if and when I was ready I would need a sponsor, because there was times they had to "go underground".  I didn't understand it then, but sure do now.

As Witches we have no leader no central church or "mouthpiece" we do as we will.  
The "churches" of 'mericka have the "AmericanFamilyCouncil" to tell them what to think and who to hate for that week, it is spread on the bully pulpit weekly....

In the summer of '08 I was blissfully reading Tarot cards and doing my reiki.
Until that last days of Autumn I heard the Hateful screech of the "Wasilla dingbat"! 
 "He's not like us"! she screamed! "I'm going to towns of Rill 'merickans"!
I sat up and went WTF?!? As many did in the metaphysical community did...!
I'm not going into the politics of it, just the "hate" part and how that affects all of us.
Now she is still screeching HATE along with the Orange "Ompaloompa" which the media is gleefully playing along for clicks and broadcasting this crap.

They even hate Pope Francis, because he is "too libril" and really does walk his talk a first for Pope in a long time, if not forever?

What to do?

Fear and H8 is the LOWEST vibration, these people are operating straight from limbic part of the brain, "The primitve part" and stuck at the Base chakra.
Hate and fear is what motivate them.
 

Keep LOVE in your vibratory field

Also they fear what they don't know so education is a key here. 

Tweeting stuff about Witches so they can learn not to be Fearful and tweeting about other religions may also help.
Wearing crystals, and Rose oil, which is the highest vibratory rate helps too. For us and effects them. (but protects us for sure)

There are orgs that are working on the higher planes to counteract this hate and fear.

The Rosecrucions, LucisTrust, Church of Light, BOTA, all have meditations where they seek to spread light and love.
I got sucked into this political mire for 7 yrs and now I'm out for the most part and I have discovered to include things in my personal practice to counteract the hate.

I am lucky to live in a diverse area, where all religions and faiths and colors, people meld and merge and its a divine melting pot of people and ideas.  

But some of you may not be so lucky...

When I worked at a place where these types of people were commonplace I always wore a stone necklace with a black tourmaline and made of smokey quartz crystals, to transform and reverse the negative energy's.

Besure to wear or carry your mojo bag and pentacle but if you have to keep it hidden still wear it, its protective.


This movie "The Burning times" I could not watch without crying and sobbing.  When I got my 2nd degree of Reiki my teacher invited me to have a Hypno-Reiki-session. It was there I discovered that I had been a witch in a pervious life, I had been tortured with hot pokers in my eyes (I have lifelong eye issues) and she said I was tortured in a most vile ways and she would not tell me...I could by then, feel the heat of the fire creeping up my body! Then she stopped the session.  That night I turned on the TV and "The Burning times" was on, and I watched it without crying, I also learned that day, why I was married to a "fireman"! To help overcome my fear of "fire"!

I thought long and hard about writing this, I certainly don't want to contribute to the Toxic cesspool of hate out there.
But this is something we MUST be aware of and guard against any-type of religious infringement of any people no matter their religion or color.  

Our country was founded on Freedom of religion and Separation of church and state and these people would love to change that. They are trying to impose their religious laws not unlike Sharia law in Middle eastern countries.  Although we can't be sucked up in the "politics of hate and fear" we must be aware.

I firmly believe that LOVE & GOOD & PEACE will Triumph over hate & fear eventually.

Crystals...why I ♥ them

 I came across this Newsweek magazine, called "Spiritual Living", from April of this year.

For some of us, we've been doing this work for years,the concepts are familiar while to others the ideas may be new! If you have friends who think you are "Woo, woo" because you're a Witch or Crystal-worker, tarot reader etc, get this and show them!They talk about Crystals, Reiki, Chakras, Meditation, and gives a nice overview. You can get it at Amazon.

Anyway since I do sell them in my store I wanted to share a couple of stories about them from over the years, and my experiences with them and how I use them. I have crystals EVERYWHERE! In my house, outside my house!

I have been working & using crystals over 20+ years in my Reiki practice, I use them for Crystal-Reiki, pendulums, in potted plants, in my magickal oils, ritual work, Reiki grids for distance healing and reiki grids in my house.

I would like to share some of my experiences with them from over the years.  

First off, Rock Quartz is my favorite all purpose crystal! It amplifies, and projects energy, it can be programed or cleared, and used for clearing, and Back in the OLD days, crystals were used in radios, Ham radios and all radios! They are still used in making silicon chips I believe for computer.

I would take my assortment of mostly raw quartz jewelry, chip necklaces and raw pieces and set them up into a nice display, at metaphysical meetings &  Full Moon meditations.

I noticed that sometimes people would walk right by, as IF they didn't even see!
While others flock around them, like moths to a flame! I pondered that, because I would take very good care in setting up my display, it was almost IF they didn't even SEE them!?!

I realized that either the crystals(themselves) were not wanting to be seen by those certain persons, the persons vibratory rate was not high enough to "SEE" them!  I saw this over and over and not just my stuff, at crystal fairs, and New age fairs.  

The Good News is the younger Generation does notice them! I can't go shopping without a young lady or man remark on my "Crystal jewelry"!

Another time, I was unpacking my crystals that I just got in the mail and weighing them and pricing them and trying NOT to get attached to them, because after all they are supposed to be sold!  

This tantric twin here (Lower L side or the shell) said to me, "Check the gas".
I separated it out, and put it to the side, unpacked the rest of them, put them away and sat with the crystal above. "Check the gas" it said again. Now crystals have a "voice" somewhat like plants do, a "tinkling, fairy type of voice" is the only way I can explain it.  I did go check the gas, and everything was fine.

Forgot all about it until later that night my gas dryer, stopped working, my gas water heater, my stove/oven and my DH at the time was  on duty at the firestation (he was a fireman, another story there! Being a witch) and I called him and he said call the gas company asap! 

I did and after losing my shit with a idiot man on the phone at the gas Company, I finally got a supervisor on the line and he said he would send someone out asap! 
At 11pm the guy comes out and checks my gas meter and tells me, he has to replace it NOW, because there is a gas bubble in there and it could blow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone freaking out yet?!?  
In older archaic astrology computer readings (for me)they mention  "Karmic influences", a danger of injury by gas explosion....

My Krystal Girl...Update

Today July 6, 3 years that Krystal come to live with me.  

I don't know what her life was, but she was found wandering the streets of LA in So. Cal with two Pups, nursing...

The Rescue thinks she was a "Puppymill dog" and kept in a crate until she got out, somehow. I think it was the Lancaster fire. I do have to crate her when I leave she goes nutz...

So my Marshie has passed so suddenly the previous month...I was falling into a deep depression. Friends and Family helped me get Krystal. 

Krystal was 55 lbs when she came to me, after being at the rescue for a month! I shudder to think of what she looked like when they found her...

She was so ungrounded when she came, she had been ripped away from her puppies, and then spayed and then she had bonded with the Foster girl and then she was ripped away from her and given to me and we had a 350+ journey to go home.

Later my friend who went with me, said "I didn't think she would make it, she was so thin..."

Now she looks like this...

My Marshie had died so suddenly and without warning, she was slightly off feed but eating and doing everything until that fateful night when I found her in the bathroom acting weird.
Trust me, a sick dog always goes into the bathroom, I don't know why!?!

By morning she had a crazy fever that I have never seen on any dog ever and I was a Vet Tech for years! She could not walk. She was out of her head.

I got a ride to get her to the vet and he said she had a spine stroke, something I never ever seen or heard about. She had gotten a rabies vacc 2 months prior.

The Vet was a nice Sikh man and he knew I wasn't ready to let her go...I wanted to see how she was after the fever, as I couldn't determine the extent of her paralysis.

He gave her injections and some meds and we came home. I had a hellish night with her.

I felt if she came out of the fever she may be ok.
I had been up for over 24 hrs with her. Finally she got to sleep and I did too. At about 4am I heard her give 3 little cries, not of pain or anything I thought the fever broke.
I thought she was ok...

When I got up at 6 she was gone. She was still warm....
It was Fathers day. I was devastated...

I thought she would make it to 12 yrs...she was 11 1/2. Run Free, my baby girl...

So Krystal was VERY ungrounded  the first two weeks, but one morning I was making coffee and she came, throw down Marshie favorite toy (Platypus baby) at my feet and looked me straight in the eye and said (mentally) "Don't you know who I am"?

I looked and said "Marshie!?, Marshie??" and got a coffee bean to test.

She ate it.

In a flash she was gone and Krystal was there. This happened 3 different times. When I get Marshies collar down and let Krystal smell it she assume the position a subordinate dog does. She wags her tail and looks expectantly.  I have NO DOUBT what so ever that it was her and I try to comfort people who have lost their beloved Furkids to know, they are STILL here with you! Also most likely being cared for on the other side by a family member or friend who has passed.

So Tomorrow will be 3 yrs and Krystal has grown so much, physically and mentally. She is 70lbs now. She guards the house and acts like a regular dog.   I do have to crate her when I leave, tho, something that bothers me, because I've never had to do that before, but the rescue advised me that she would hurt herself if I didn't after she tore down two sets of blinds.

We walk over a mile everyday and I'm hoping to be able to take her out to places because she is a ESA dog.

A dog will return your love a million times over.  When I'm sick, she is there...like a good "Mom"...

I miss Marshie, she always lives in my heart and I know she is here, all I have to do it take down her collar and show Krystal!  Krystal knows!

Also when something like this happens you really know who your friends are and who are the posers.

The woman who went with me, was a neighbor I barely know she dropped everything to go 600+ round trip! Her Husband took Marshie & I to the Vet when she was sick.

Rescue a Dog, you won't be sorry! Thank you German Shepherd Rescue of OC!

I don't know what we will do today, if It nice maybe go on a little picnic?

A longer walk or I will practice my Doggie Acupressure on her, she loves massages! And Reiki!
She is a beautiful girl who stole my heart.
Marshie and the Goddess brought her to me!

Update: Today it is 4 yrs since my Marshie left. Krystal has done so much to heal my heart & soul. I am so full of gratitude for her love. I just spent 2 hrs posting Dogs from  GermanShepherdRescue of Orange County a dog who was then a pup I was going to rescue for her right after her 11th birthday but decided not to b/c I couldn't afford two doggie ins policies & food. So I didn't adopt him. He is STILL THERE! I have tears!!! Please Share him so we can find him a Furever home! His name is "Barney" and he was rescued from a hoarders house who did not get him the Vet care he needed....
